Keith Munday

Singer /Songwriter

Keith Munday has, over the years, written songs for various artistes. In the 1980's he lived with his wife and family in Torquay for a few years. At that time, he had his songs played on DevonAir Radio . He also appeared on radio shows and at Paignton Theatre for whom he wrote songs and music for the summer shows.

 

He received a personal thank you from President Ronald Reagan and Nancy,  for a Christmas song he had written for the hostages in Iran.

 

Keith and his family have since moved back to Middlesex. He has written songs for a musical at the Dominion Theatre in London. He was also asked to write a team song for Crystal Palace Football Club. On one occasion, while Keith was at Abbey Road Studios, he listened in on John Barry recording a film theme with his orchestra. Keith was very impressed and says one day he would like to be asked to compose music for a film or TV drama. Until then, he continues to write pop songs, ballads and even country songs.
